Psychological Safety – Showcase 7th October 2026

DATE: 07/10/2026
TIME: 1:00 pm
DURATION: 1 Hour 30 Minutes
LOCATION: Microsoft Teams

Experience how everyday leadership behaviours can help people speak up, contribute, learn and challenge.

➤ Please note, this isn’t a full training session. It’s an opportunity for Senior HR, L&D and People Professionals to try out elements of the programme, learn more about our work in this area, and to consider whether it’s something that they would be interested to run in their organisation.

Psychological safety isn’t about being nice or avoiding difficult conversations.

It’s about creating an environment where people feel able to speak up, admit mistakes, contribute ideas, ask questions and challenge constructively without fear of being dismissed or blamed.

Join us for a free interactive showcase to experience how Enact brings psychological safety to life through realistic workplace situations.

Using professional actors and expert facilitation, we’ll explore the everyday moments that can either build psychological safety or quietly undermine it: the leader who doesn’t notice the room has gone silent, the mistake nobody wants to own, the idea that gets dismissed too quickly or the feedback that becomes difficult to hear.

You’ll experience selected elements of our programme, explore our experiential approach and consider how it could support leaders and teams within your own organisation.

No death by PowerPoint. No role-play. Just engaging discussion, practical insight and realistic workplace learning.

What will we explore?

Our Psychological Safety programme explores four key areas:

Inclusion Do people feel they belong and that their voice will be heard? What happens when someone speaks up and nobody really listens?

Learning How do teams respond when things go wrong? Do mistakes become an opportunity to blame or an opportunity to learn, improve and prevent the same thing happening again?

Contribution Do people feel able to put forward ideas, perspectives and different ways of doing things? And how do leaders respond when somebody takes that small interpersonal risk?

Challenge Can people give and receive honest feedback, including upwards? And can leaders stay curious and open when they hear something they may not agree with?

Through live scenarios, polling and forum theatre, participants can explore different responses and see the impact of changing a conversation in real time.

Why does this matter?

Psychological safety is often shaped by small, everyday interactions.

A leader who reacts defensively to bad news can make somebody think twice about raising an issue again.

A mistake that becomes a search for who was at fault can encourage people to hide problems rather than flag them early.

An idea dismissed with “we’ve tried that before” can gradually stop people contributing at all.

And when feedback is met with defensiveness, people quickly learn when it is safer to stay quiet.

Creating psychological safety doesn’t mean removing accountability or challenge. It means creating the conditions where people can be honest, raise concerns early, learn from what happens and have the conversations that help teams perform at their best.

Experience the difference.

Discover how experiential learning can help leaders recognise the behaviours that influence psychological safety and practise creating teams where people feel able to speak up, learn, contribute and challenge.
