Daneka is an actor, writer and accessibility consultant with a specific interest in how art can affect social change. As an actor, Daneka has worked and toured extensively across UK theatre with organisations such as National Theatre, Shakespeare’s Globe, Sheffield Crucible and Nottingham Playhouse; and as a writer with companies such as Paines Plough, BBC, Box of Tricks, Theatre by the Lake.
She is also an Access and Equity Consultant, specialising in arts venues and production. She’s led E&I training, consultancy, accessibility artist development and company access development with companies such as HOME, Central School of Speech and Drama, Company of Others, Mind The Gap, Leeds Playhouse, ALRA, OCA, The Hale Arts; as well as over 50+ independent artists and independent companies. Daneka is an experienced Disability Equality Trainer, and is currently leading on Neuro-Inclusion training provision with Enact which is being delivered nationally.
