Unconscious Bias Online Training: Webinar

Does your organisation require Unconscious Bias training?

Do you face logistical challenges getting people together for face to face training?

Building on our highly successful face-to-face experiential Unconscious Bias sessions, we’re running a free, hour-long ‘taster’ of our experiential, online training sessions in January 2018.

Why online training?

Eighteen months ago, a major multinational utility company came to us with a challenge. They had managers based at multiple locations who they wanted to train in the basics of unconscious bias – what it is, its potential impact, and how to go about minimising its negative consequences.

They loved our experiential, dramatised approach to the topic and were convinced it could work in an online setting. We weren’t so sure, but when they told us they were disappointed with conventional e-learning solutions and wanted us to retain, as much as possible, our human-scale, interactive approach, we accepted their challenge.

Turns out they were right, 15 successful sessions down the line the results have exceeded all our expectations. So much so that we’ve decided to tell other organisations about the benefits of our approach in an hour-long, webinar ‘taster’ session.

Is this for you?

Our webinar ‘taster’ session is ideal if your organisation is interested in implementing training to:

  • Raise employee awareness and understanding of the unconscious mental processes that impact everyday decision-making;
  • Provide experiential exercises that demonstrate bias in action; and
  • Spread practical strategies for minimising the negative impact of bias in areas like recruitment, people management, and customer service.

You will learn more about our approach to online training and experience elements of our Unconscious Bias programme with some time for Q&A as well.

To book your free place

The webinar takes place on Tues 9 January 2018 at 10.30am.

Please note, to reflect the actual delegate learning experience, this ‘taster’ session is limited to 15 participants in total, with places allocated on a first come first served basis.
