Unconscious Bias, Free Bitesize Showcase: London

What’s it all about?

How can an organisation live its values, or even follow its processes, until staff are allowed to explore how unconscious bias impacts on our behaviours? Our innovative approach heightens awareness of personal biases in a non-judgemental way. It allows individuals to reflect upon and improve their behaviours, whether to internal or external customers, contributing to a far more inclusive and effective organisation.

A drama based workshop

Our experiential learning approach utilises a dynamic blend of live drama, multi media filmed resources, electronic voting systems (measuring success), and highly skilled facilitation. It is a powerful way to explore behaviours and will be relevant to anyone within Human Resources or Learning & Development roles.

With carefully scripted scenarios and activities, our facilitator will enable delegates to examine, in a safe and supportive environment, realistic examples where bad practice and its consequences can be highlighted and explored. Then participants can reflect on the lessons they will take away and make specific pledges for changes they want to carry over into the workplace.

Participants will learn:

  • How unconscious bias affects our judgements, when dealing with customers, in recruitment, line management, and elsewhere; and
  • How to put this crucial learning into practice.
