Recruitment, Selection and Interview Skills: Birmingham

Free Taster workshop

What it’s all about

We’re really pleased to announce that we’ll be running a FREE taster of one of our popular workshops ‘Recruitment, Selection and Interview skills’ this February. This impactful 2-hour session has been condensed from our ‘Full Day’ experiential workshop to give you a flavour of how we help organisations improve their behaviours and minimise bias in the recruitment and selection process. It will also demonstrate how effectively we enable delegates to develop and hone their skills in holding an interview.

Drama-based training (Where you don’t have to act!)

Our tried and tested approach utilises a dynamic blend of drama, multimedia filmed resources, electronic voting systems (measuring success), and highly skilled facilitation. It’s a highly interactive, powerful way to explore behaviours and best practice when it comes to identifying and recruiting new employees.

This taster workshop is especially worthwhile for managers, HR professionals and others with responsibility for recruitment and for developing and retaining talent to help support their delivery of an inclusive, diverse and high performing workplace.

Learning and personal development

Delegates will:

  • Experience the use of drama and filmed material to bring case studies and realistic scenarios to life
  • Deepen understanding and learn ways to identify and challenge bias within the recruitment process
  • Take part in experiential ‘real play’ exercises to hone interview skills and techniques, for example, active listening and methods for successful questioning
  • Have the opportunity to reflect and translate the learning to their own working environments and experience and action plan ideas for personal change

Interested?

The workshop is FREE and will run from 10:30am till 12:30pm (refreshments and registration from 10:15am) on 9th February at MAC Birmingham, Cannon Hill Park, Birmingham, West Midlands B12 9QH. We’ll be in Pinsent Mason Room 2. It goes without saying, we’d be delighted to see you there.
