the showcase session

On Monday 5th October 2020 we will be showcasing our ‘Productive Conversations in Challenging Times’ virtual training and learning development workshop via livestream.

A 1½ hour ‘taster’ showcase. This powerful session is designed to assist organisations in the ‘new normal’. There is heightened anxiety around the continuing risks and fallout of the Covid-19 pandemic, such as the increased risk to BAME colleagues, fears around furlough and redundancy and the impact on mental health and wellbeing. Attendees will explore our ‘tried and tested’ approach to successfully handling potentially ‘difficult conversations’. The workshop is designed to reflect remote working and the challenging backdrop of the Covid-19 pandemic. You’ll find out how we deliver highly engaging, immersive learning experiences that blend drama, theoretical models and live interactive content.

This livestream session explores how to help managers at all levels learn and practise the essential ‘soft’ skills needed to hold high impact, productive conversations with team members, peers, and superiors.

learning outcomes

  • Explore the practical and emotional challenges of remote working, especially at a time like this
  • Know how to hold productive conversations in a range of potentially challenging areas, including breaking bad news, coaching, and supporting employee wellbeing
  • Understand why some conversations are much more difficult than others, the impact of internal narratives, and ways to manage one’s emotional reactions in the heat of the moment
  • Recognise the key elements of good listening and how to balance it with person-centred empathetic questioning
  • Learn how to give and receive timely constructive feedback, including recognising people’s strengths and contributions

This highly interactive, powerful ‘taster’ showcase is going to be of interest to Human Resources and Learning & Development professionals.
