Showcasing drama-based training on effective coaching techniques
What it’s all about
We’re offering a free opportunity for you to see how Enact Solutions is helping managers, team leaders, supervisors and others to unlock potential and maximise individual performance through effective coaching.
In this 11⁄2 hour ‘taster’ session, we’ll demonstrate examples of how our innovative, drama based experiential approach lends itself to demonstrating and exploring the ins and outs of coaching employees in a range of different situations.
As ever, our focus is on making a real difference. This is a fantastic opportunity to see first-hand the impact of our approach.
A drama-based workshop
Our tried and tested approach utilises a dynamic blend of live drama with professional actors (they play roles, so delegates don’t have to), multimedia filmed resources, electronic voting systems (measuring success), and highly skilled facilitation.
It’s a highly interactive, powerful way to explore behaviours and will be of interest to anyone within Human Resources or Learning & Development roles, whatever the sector.
Learning and development
This ‘taster’ session showcases the benefits of our experiential approach over conventional training methods, including e-learning. It will give attendees a real insight into how we work with delegates in our Leadership Skills workshops to:
- identify the features and impact of unproductive coaching techniques, demonstrated in an anti-model scenario (what coaching is not) that deals with inadequate preparation, ineffective questions, poor listening, judgemental criticism & feedback, telling not empowering;
- understand the 4 elements of the GROW coaching framework;
- formulate effective questions for each stage of GROW;
- apply effective questioning to the scenario situation; and
- observe the positive outcomes of applying the GROW model.
In their own words
“The session was so well-received by all the participants and was talked about very loudly during the rest of the day.”
It’s free. But don’t hang about as places are limited and will be booked on a first come, first served basis. (Please note, due to demand and administration costs, there will be a £99 plus VAT charge for cancellations received less than 48 hours prior to the event.)
The event will run from 2.00pm till 3.30pm (refreshments and registration from 1.45pm) on 20th June 2016 at our offices on Miry Lane, Thongsbridge, near Huddersfield.
It goes without saying, we’d be delighted to see you there.
