Behavioural Safety: Central London

Enact Solutions is very pleased to announce this FREE opportunity to sample our highly impactful, experiential Behavioural Safety training in London on 23rd June 2017.

We utilise a dynamic blend of live drama with professional actors (don’t worry delegates, there’s no role play!), multi-media material, electronic voting systems (measuring success), and highly skilled facilitation. Our powerfully effective drama-based approach helps bring to life ways in which we can affect safety positively, and negatively, at every level within an organisation.

A half-day event

The event will run from 9:30am to 12:30pm on 23rd June at the Covent Garden Dragon Hall Trust, 17 Stukeley Street, London WC2B 5LT.

The programme

The session is themed on a ‘case study’ originally developed for the construction division of a leading global pharmaceutical company.

Using carefully scripted scenarios and active learning techniques, delegates will examine realistic examples where bad practice and its consequences can be highlighted and explored in a safe and supportive environment.

In this workshop, delegates will explore all the contributing behaviours and underlying attitudes in a root cause structure. They will see first-hand the impact of decisions made in response to factors as wide ranging as: unforeseen events (the weather); budget; time pressures (targets or deadlines); workmates; pressure from above; other teams; and self-imposed pressure. Along the way we’ll uncover the gaps that emerge at different levels within an organisation, bringing to life the importance of Health, Safety, Environment, and Quality (HSEQ).

It’s a powerful, tried and tested training programme that gets crucial messages across and enables delegates to explore ways to positively affect their organisations health & safety culture. This is a great opportunity to experience the effectiveness of our approach and just what makes it so impactful.

The outcomes

This showcase ‘taster’ session addresses a wide range of issues and challenges for delegates to:

  • Recognise and encourage effective team working;
  • Explore the challenges and try out different approaches to achieve effective communication around SHE;
  • Share best practice around potentially ‘difficult conversations’;
  • Show the importance of recognising good practice as well as challenging unsafe behaviours; and
  • Identify ways in which we can positively affect health and safety at work

Who should attend?

For this ‘case study’ session, we’ll be using existing material to give you an insight into just what we offer. It is especially relevant to anyone within Health & Safety roles (Directors, Heads & Managers) whatever the sector.
